In this beautiful city of 5,545 people, there are many things to do. Being right by the Wapsipinicon River, you can see why. There is an abundance of things to do here. You can walk, fish, golf, skate, and bike in this town. There are also lots of restaurants in Anamosa as well. There is Tyler and Downing’s Eatery, El Ranchito, and McDonald’s. There are around fifteen whole restaurants in town in total.
For recreational activities, other than doing things by the river, you can go to their local parks. There is a total of ten whole parks! The Anamosa School district is very good as well. Their football coach, Ryan Streets, was awarded coach of the year by KCRG. The schools have plenty of anti-drug and anti-bullying policies so your children will always be safe!
